Description
He went tothe Anywhere with the sill ladies several times. It had blue sea and white sand, perfect for digging and building in. There were ordinary people in it, but Christopher only saw them in the distance. The silly ladies came and sat on rocks out of the sea and giggled at him while he made sand castles.
"Oh clistoffer!" they would coo, in lisping voices. "Tell uth what make you a clistoffer." And they would all burst into screams of high laughter.
The Silly Ladies from The Lives of Christopher Chant
so both my guesses on how to spell the way the mermaids said Christopher were wrong.
When I first thought of how this would look, I imagined the sky being a light blue and the sand being WAY lighter(I am still kind of bummed about that actually) but I do love the final picture Christopher is just so ADORABLE!!! I am also kind of dissapointed that my mom's scanner is too small and cut off about half an inchof my wonderful masterpiece :<
I really hope everyone enjoys this Chrestomanci fanart! I put a lot of work into it Please please tell me what you think, comment, critique!
I used copic markers for the majority of the coloring. for the sky I used watercolors and I used white gel pen and colored pencils for highlights

I loved this part of the story. A young Chrestomanci meeting mermaids, the incarnation of an ancient goddess, and someone who used astral projection to communicate with him. Christopher certainly does get around in the dream world.
